Casper had the carseat loaded and the back of his car was filled with gifts. They were heading back to Forks for christmas to be with their families. Ash come on we gotta go. She came out and locked the door before getting in the car. Then let's go. He held her hand as he got in and started the long drive back to forks. In the backseat Jeremy cooed happily as they drove and Ashley laughed a little bit. He was a month old now and was a really good baby. Surprisingly Jerey didn't cry at night and he loved to be held. Our parents are gonna love him to death. Of course they will, she said with no emotion. Ash what's wrong? Do you honestly want him? You seem so distant. Casper took his hand back and ran it through his hair before putting it back on the steering wheel. I love him. I guess I just don't show it, i'm like my dad in that aspect. She looked out the window and folded her hands in her lap. I really do love him ash. I love you too. His hand found hers and she held onto it tightly. Please don't leave us. I wouldn't baby. I promise. I need to ask you something though. She turned to face him now, What? her voice shook slightly. What do you think of moving back to Forks? I found a job there... He stroked her hand with his thumb lightly. Oh my god... That's amazing! He smiled and kissed her hand, Ok well we have a house around the corner from our parents. Really? It was just incase. An early wedding present. She blushed at the thought of their wedding. I'd love to live in Forks. He smiled and started to talk again, We need to discuss this wedding. What do you think of a winter wedding? He let his mind wander as he waited for her repsonse. He couldn't wait to marry her, it was all he ever wanted. Now he had an entire family to think about. He thought about what he'd gotten her for christmas, he hoped she'd like it.
Before she could answer he stopped at a rest stop, time for Jeremy to eat. She went to sit in the backseat with him and took him out of his carseat. I can grab a bottle if you'd rather. He offered figuring she wouldn't want to breast feed him because normally he had bottles. She didn't hate it but didn't like it either. She had said it was a 'girl thing' and that he shouldn't worry about it.
