Alice was sitting on the couch with Jasper, waiting for the rest of the family to arrive. She had told each of them that she had visions and it was a life-or-death situation. She also told them they needed to have a family meeting immediately. She and Jasper had settled on the couch after they had gotten showers and changed into new clothes. Now to wait for the rest of the family to get here now...
"How do you think they will react to the fact that humans are now coming up with a plan to kill all of us vampires?" Alice asked him. She rested her head on his shoulder. She was still feeling drowsy from so many visions in one day. She was anxious for them to arrive. This was really important to discuss very soon.

“My beginning was something else entirely.” Jasper wound his arm protectively around Alice’s small waist and held her close. He was worried, the visions were startling and a huge shock. Not to mention the fact that Alice had said that they were doomed, that didn’t really make him feel like they had much chance at changing that future. He was nervous, it showed in the rigid way he was sitting, the way he didn’t move, the way his face was tense. It was like being at school when he was having problems with blood all over again. He didn't look in pain, but he looked very strange. Or at least strange to a human, his family knew the look already.
“How will they react? Emmett will say that we can fight them, Edward will probably sit quietly, Carlisle will get thoughtful, Esme will start saying how we can show we aren’t monsters…” He muttered softly, taking her hand in his. He held her close and debated mentally any ideas he had… Which there really weren’t any. The only thing on his mind was that he didn’t want to lose Alice. Any normal time he would have been resting his head against Alice’s, smiling to himself. Not today though, his back remained stiffly upright and his muscles tense.
“The real question is will we be able to find a way to stop them…” He murmured softly, to himself as well as Alice. It was a frightening thing, the thought of all humans knowing they existed. They would not forgive that they drank their blood, nor that they killed others of their kind. They would hate vampires, every single one. The Cullens were included, Vegetarian or not.

Okay, so from aside of doing nothing, All he could hear around the house was alice screaming Family Meeting Asap. The point of hearing it more than atleast thirty times got him on the bridges. He sighed softly and walked down the marble staircase down to where Alice and Jazz were. Get a room.. He spoke quietly. He got down the staircase and went over to one of the chairs. He made himself comfy. He looked at the couple still talking their little chit chat as he waited now.
Okay, so... Am i guessing that I need to go kill someone now? Emmett said with a little chuckle at the end, but stopped. He laid his arms on the arms of the chair and looked around. Apparently he was the first to be there. So, now he had to wait for everyone else to come for the big HOMG news alice has yet to tell everyone. Alice, answer me this... How bad is this news? he said looking at Alice and Jazz. Before coming down, he was chatting with mitch, Rose, haley and kacie about the hysterics of school .No surprise there really, but Em came down right away, for that something totally didnt sound correct.
ooc; okay so it sucks. sorry.

It can open your heart It can break you apart And it never even slows down - Carrie Underwood ~ Wheel of the World Mitch wandered silently into the room, too silently. Silent was natural for him, but only when his eyes were distant with though. They weren't now. They were plainly focused on the present, as if the idea of a family meeting had stalled all thoughts he had. He was nervous as he walked in and glanced at those that had arrived into the room before him. This hadn't sounded good and he hadn't wanted to try and figure out what it was. "Hi," he said quietly as he sat in a chair in the room. He bit his lip. If he were human he'd have drawn blood, both from his teeth and the way his nails were digging into his hands. He hadn't heard the words Aunt Alice had spoken, which was probably a very good thing. He heard the words Uncle Jasper spoke though, some of them anyways. He wasn't paying attention so some of them didn't register and what did didn't make sense yet. "This meeting.... it's not good is it?" The words were again spoken softly, but that didn't mean much to vampires anymore.

"Let's put it this way, Em, it's as bad as you and Rosalie ever breaking up. Comprende?" Alice told him strictly, giving Jasper's hand a reassuring squeeze as she looked across the room at Emmett. That was the only situation horribly enough to explain to Emmett how bad things were soon going to be for all of them now.
"No, Mitchell, it isn't good. Let's wait for everyone else before I tell everyone what really is going on, okay?" Alice told her nephew, not wanting her face to expose how serious things were becoming now.

Kacie let out a sigh as she walked downstairs for this meeting that was going on supposedly it was urgent. She walked down the stairs listening to what her aunt had just said. "You two aren't listening I see?...Like father like son." she said with a smirk. "How many time is Alice going to have to say this is bad news." she said before showing herself to her family downstairs. She leaned against the wall, standing in a sweat, jean skirt, and boots. She looked at her aunt and uncle, "Is there any good news?" she said looking concerned and hoping that there would be. "Mom said she'll be down in a minute.."

I am an old woman Named after my mother My old man is another Child that's grown old Bells dragged herself down the starcase into the living room just minutes after she heard Alice yell FAMILY MEETING a few times. Bella didn't know what to expect with Alice's mind. Maybe a vision. or even something about the up comeing wedding of Rosalie and Emmett, again. She was around the fourth to arrive, just after Kacie. "Hellos" she said in a rather drowsy voice. She just was having a long day. No fight today, to Bella's relef. She took her usual seat on the couch, next to where Edward sat, and across from Nessie. No one'd be able to stand if Bells and Ness sat next to each other, especially if they were in the middle of a fight before the meeting.
She awated for the others to join, by looking at the other Cullens that were sitting on the opposate sides of her, or on other parts of the room. She wished she too could read minds. Lord, did she wish. But she should be happy enough, she had gotten a supernatural power. She quickly straitened her Silver shirt that was almost just below her waiste. The shirt was warn under a black sweater that she loved so much. It was always so comfortable.

~ Another day without you with me. Is like a blade that cuts right through me. But I can wait. I can wait forever. When you call my heart stops beating. When you're gone it won’t stop bleeding. But I can wait. I can wait forever. Brad was in a bad mood. No denying it – he was pissed. Add to that the fact that he hadn’t fed for a while, and he was probably the LAST person anyone wanted to be around at this time of day. However, when his parents called a family meeting, they tended to have a good reason. With a bit of a mopey look on his face, Brad entered the room. “Hi Mom, hi Dad,” he said, moving to sit on the couch beside Mitchell, kicking his feet up and over the edge with a practiced movement. “Hola Uncle Emmett!” he said, grinning at his uncle. He smiled at Mitchell, and then relaxed into the couch. “Hey Mitch,” he announced, his grin growing as he smiled around. He was getting better at hiding his emotions, although he avoided making eye contact with his father for obvious reasons. At least his other uncle wasn’t here yet. He pitied the moment that his uncle walked into the room. Stupid telepathy… he thought to himself, still smiling. His aunt was already in the room, and his cousin, Kacie, was leaning against the wall, her eyes on Alice and Jasper. He lifted his chin, “Hey Kacie. Hey Auntie Bella,” he said softly, before placing his chin back against his chest and sighing. “I’ve always hated bad news,” he revealed, hoping that someone would laugh and break an ounce of the silence in the room. Brad had always hated silence, because it was always as if it could smoosh you if you weren’t paying attention. Brad leaned up abruptly, frowning as his mind worked on overdrive to try to see if he could figure anything out. Alice’s feelings were worry, as were Jasper’s. Everyone else had an almost hazy apprehension to them – as if they wanted to know, but didn’t at the same time. He leaned back again, crossing his ankles.

“My beginning was something else entirely.” Jasper sent Emmett a slight smirk as he entered but his face quickly fell back to the tense expression. He remained silent as he waited for the rest of the family to show up. He watched as Mitchell came, then Kacie and Bella. He smiled lightly to each as they entered. “Hello Bella and there’s no good news that I know of Kacie,” He said softly. He watched as his son walked in, breaking the drowsy silence that had fallen. Leave it to Brad to try and lighten the mood. It still seemed odd to call Brad he son… After all they almost looked the same age.
“Hello Brad.” Jasper said softly. He was beginning to impatient but tried to not let it show. After all he wasn’t the impatient one. He remained inhumanly still, his hand gently clinging to Alice’s.

THE DREAMER Brittany had heard of the Cullen meeting. She'd been outside again, just right outside the door on the porch, observing the surroundings and watching for movement. The pad of paper she was looking at was still clean, as smooth and white as her skin. The fingers of her right hand gripping the fountain pen as her hand was poised to write. She knew it was important, why her mother had called for a meeting. Her parents were always looking out for the safety of her family, and she loved them to bits. The family had grown slowly over the years, adding her brother Brad some decades ago. Mitchell, Kacie, her aunt Bella and her uncles Emmett and Edward were already in the living room. Family meetings such as these were always big gatherings, and it took time to get everyone together. She knew that maybe not everyone would be able to come, so she decided she'd be the secretary for the day, as she already had her pen and paper. Standing up slowly from her indian sitting position, she opened the door, her fingers tightening over the handle. Pushing the door, she saw those who had arrived. Giving all a soft shy smile--she was in that kind of mood today--Brittany went to her parents, giving each a peck on the cheek in greeting. She would've given Brad one too, but somehow she sensed he was pissed off today, and it wouldn't help alleviate his mood. She sat on the armrest beside her brother."Hello loves." she addressed to all. Her brother Brad had just spoken, and Jasper had said a Hello in return. She'd heard the exchange in the doorway. She smiled, looking down at her brother beside her. She knew how uncomfortable he was with silence. Somehow she knew that it wasn't a good thing for him, that his boisterous almost Emmett like behaviour was his way of making up for the fear or dread that enveloped him when silence occured. "Who doesn't hate bad news?" she said out loud in reply to Brad. From her perch on the couch she could see everyone. Her hands had been itching to write another story again today, but she'd only gotten to the 'imagining' phase, she hadn't written anything down. Her mothers urgent voice had snapped Brittz out of her reverie and she knew that she had to get everything together and go show her support. The meeting hadn't really started yet, since everyone wasn't present, so she stared down at the piece of paper in front of her, frowning. The tension exuding from everyone was making her nervous, and she wrote down her "Meeting" on the top of the paper just to be able to do something and give her hands some way to stop fidgeting.[/size]

Alice pulled herself into Jasper's lap, still gripping onto his hand like a lifeline. She smiled at her children as they came into the room, followed by Bella and Emmett. Now things were getting interesting. "Hi, Bella!" Alice greeted her sister with a warm smile. "Hey, sweetie!" she told her daughter as Brittany came over and kissed her and Jasper each on the cheek. Alice stuck her tongue out at Emmett like a five-year-old. She didn't want to talk to him now.
Alice rested her head on Jasper's shoulder, wondering what was taking the rest of the family so long get here. She had checked an hour before the agreed-upon meeting time to see that everyone would be home. They were supposed to be. Where were they?

~I’d do anything, Just to hold you in my arms, To try to make you laugh, Cause I can’t put this in the past… Brad grinned up at his sister, losing his anger almost instantly. For some reason, she always seemed to make him calm down. Or maybe it was his father… He wasn’t sure, but he was thankful for whoever was making him calm down. He frowned gently as he saw his mother’s face. He wished that he could do something to ease the tension of the room. It was as if the entire house was going to explode. He could just feel the tension, and he wasn’t even Jasper! He smiled thankfully at his sister. “I know I harbour a deep hatred for bad news myself, Brittie. There’s just something about the word bad that makes me cringe,” Brad said laughing. His attitude was back up to somewhat insane, a trait that he believed he learned from Alice. His easy-going smile turned to face the other family members, and then fell slightly as he caught the looks his parents were sharing. How he hated bad news. Brad looked over at Brittany’s twitching hands, wondering if she had actually done any writing this past day. He knew that she tended to be nervous when she hadn’t gotten her feelings out of her in writing. He looked at the top of the paper, and grinned. “You’re going to be our secretary, then, sis?” His grin kind of fell, but he boosted it back up and kept his face composed, allowing a large grin to be thrown at his mother. He frowned, and then began to juggle to random pencils that were laying around the room, hoping for a few laughs.

The road of life is rugged Any road you choose - Amy Grant ~ The Feeling I Had Mitch watched as others entered. He didn't comment to what Kacie said. It was common for Mitch to miss things being lost in his thoughts. Even now he wasn't fully paying attention, hoping that if he was distracted the time it took the others to arrive would go quicker. He nodded to Brad when he entered and sat next to him, but otherwise just listened to the conversation going on, the greetings and such. It was the conversation about not liking bad new that amused him and he had to comment. "I believe bad news sort of indicates negativity. It's only natural to feel negative emotions for whatever might be implied by those words." But there are varying degrees of bad, he thought. So how bad is bad? They wouldn't know that until everyone got there. Until then they were in the dark, and that was what worried him. This sound REALLY bad, like a life or death matter. That scared him a little.

THE DREAMER Brittany smiled as her brother attempted again some feeble stab at a joke. He was only trying to ease things, despite the fact that they all knew that the tension wouldn't go away. “You’re going to be our secretary, then, sis?” Brad asked her. "Yes, yes I am." she replied softly, her tone cort of challenging as an idea came into her head. He could be such a sweetie sometimes. Then he started juggling some pencils. And, he could be such a goofball too. She giggled, no sound coming out as she threw her fountain pen towards the direction of Brad. The pen hit one of the pencils he was juggling, and it upset the balance. Her precision and the speed at which she threw her pen made the pencil it had hit fly across the room. "Oopsie." Brittany said, not really sorry. Anything was better than waiting in silence. Silence and tension--not a good combination in her opinion.
"I believe bad news sort of indicates negativity. It's only natural to feel negative emotions for whatever might be implied by those words." her 'cousin' Mitchell piped up. Brittany nodded thoughtfully at his statements. Mitchell was always so quiet. Sometimes Brittz could be quiet too, but she sometimes chose not to be. It was a sort of personality thing. In her point of view, she could get along well with him, enjoying quiet moments and short but insightful exchanges of conversation. But not right now. Standing up, she smoothed down her baby doll dress, her fingers nervously skirting the ribbon that she'd tied in a little bow at the front. She went to retrieve her pen, passing the couch then the piano before she could bend down and pick up her pen. Then she went a little bit farther to get the pencil that had ricocheted off. She shot an apologetic glance at her parents. She didn't mean to make such a scene, and she was already starting to feel guilty for her little spontaneous action earlier.
As she straightened up, she went towards the couch again, taking a seat beside Mitchell and Brad. She really didn't think anyone else was coming. "Maybe we should start. I really want to get to know what is happening..." Biting her lip, she poised her pen over her paper. "I could take notes...so that...they'll know what we talked about." She was serious now.

"If Brittany is taking notes, we don't have to wait for the rest. So the reason I called this meeting is because I have been having a series of visions since late yesterday evening. They were all about the same thing, all of them. Just a continuation of where the last one left off. The bad part is that there are too many gaps. We might have enough information to do anything. Even if we do, we are going to need more help than the 20 of us. This effects all the vampires around the world. We're going to need to make a lot of phone calls if we're even going to make a dent in saving us all," Alice began, giving them an introduction first. This was going to be a shock to the whole family, so she wanted to make sure she was doing the right thing in telling them what she had seen.
She was telling them the same things she had told Jasper, but she took out some parts here and there because they were only between her and Jasper for now. Alice stopped for a moment before continuing, giving Brittany time for notes. "I don't know if the person who told them was a human or a vampire. I guess it really doesn't matter now, it probably wouldn't make a difference either way. We're exposed to the human race, whether we like it or not. Now we're in mortal danger. They're making a plan to kill us. To kill all vampires and we're completely defenseless. No matter where we try to hide, it won't help. They already know. The U.N. knows about there being vampires. They know we're not just the creatures of fictional stories. The person who told them had such strong evidence that they couldn't not believe him. The person had photos and videos of vampires killing animals and humans alike. They're going to show the President. They won't stop," Alice continued telling them about the visions then. She spared a quick glance at Jasper.
It was a bit harder for her to tell everyone since both of her and Jasper's kids were in the room with them, but they needed to know the huge change yet to come. "I know what they're going to do. Unless we figure out what they use in the toxin first, we will all be dead in a matter of months. Maybe less. It's hard to figure out how long things like this will take in so many visions at once. I'm sure Carlisle might know something since he is a doctor. What kind of poisons can kill thousands of vampires at once? Even I don't know about that. The Volturi probably wouldn't come over here, anyways. They would be too worried about being destroyed themselves. We're on our own until we can call the others to figure out what to do next. The toxin won't kill us necessarily. I saw what will happen to us, but I want to run things by Carlisle to see if my predictions are correct. You don't understand yet. I seen what the toxins will do with us. In a way, we'll be better off," Alice stated, getting close to the end of her visions now, it was time for the punchline. She was about to tell them how the toxins were going to change them. It would be a big transition for some of them, since they had been vampires for over 300 years.
Alice took an unnecessary breathe before she told them the end of her visions. She knew this is where things would get really crazy for the family. What would happen to them seemed impossible, but she saw the results with her own eyes. "It won't kill, it'll give us an advantage. Sure, it's going to make part of the family sad and part of the family happy. There's so much that it going to happen to us. More than beyond our wildest dreams. It's going to be amazing. We still won't age or be able to eat normal food. We might be able to drink water and such, but we're not going to do everything like humans. We will be able to have kids, though. Rose is going to be thrilled, but Bella's not going to be too happy. She turned into a vampire to be with Edward, now they're both going to be turned back into humans. I wonder if our eyes will stay the same color," Alice finished the speech finally. She collapsed back against Jasper. She felt mentally and physically exhausted again after telling some of her family what would happen to them. Now it was time for all of Hell to break loose. She knew how her family would react to the news, they would absolutely freak out.
