Breathe And we know it’s never simple, Never easy. Never a clean break, no one here to save me. You’re the only thing I know like the back of my hand,And I can’t breathe without you, but I have to breathe, Without you but I have to.Breathe Alice sat on the bed, watching Jasper pace back in forth in their room. Their room. She didn't know if she could even call it that anymore after everything that happened. It shouldn't have happened and everyone knew it. If Alice had just kept her feelings under control and talked to Jasper about them, she wouldn't be facing death now. It wasn't actual dying she was talking about, she was talking about her heart being broken and the will to live being sucked out of her. She did love Jasper with all her heart, but she didn't know about how he felt about her anymore. He had been so angry that day then.
Alice wrapped her arms around her stomach protectively. The twins were kicking her more since she was in close proximity to Jasper. They always kicked her more when he was near her. She couldn't even look up at his face, her once blond angel's face. He had a face of an angel, she had told him that millions of times. Her body was shaking with silent sobs, not that he cared either way right now. They needed to talk whether they liked it or not. She knew that right at the same moment, Emmett and Rosalie were in their room talking as well. It was time for explanation for both sets of couples then.
"Jazzy, stop pacing, please! You're going to wear a hold right through the floor and ceiling. Esme wouldn't be happy if you did," she couldn't believe she was reprimanding him now after everything that happened. She guessed old habits die hard, as the saying went. They needed to figure out a plan, whether it be for a divorce and custody of the kids...or if he could find a way to forgive her. He wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't. She wouldn't forgive her herself after all she had done to hurt him. She still did love him, even though she knew she would never deserve him after how she hurt him. She had done the worst thing imaginable to her other half then.

You were everything, everything that I wanted We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away
Jasper paced. It was an odd thing for him to do, when he was nervous or waiting he usually sat there. It was Bella who was the pacer. He remembered back when they were hiding her from James, when he’d watch her pace all day, wondering why. He still didn’t know why, it didn’t relieve him of the heartbreak he was feeling. He kept pacing, unsure of what to say… He wanted to chew her out, yell and scream at her. He’d even felt violent at times, but he couldn’t. No matter how angry and heartbroken he felt she was still Alice. And though he was furious with her deep down he would always love her. Whether he actually wanted to or not. He wanted nothing more that to just leave her right there. Go back to Texas and forget this all like a nightmare. But he knew he’d come back, or drive himself insane if he tried.
“Esme’s already angry about the door…” He growled softly, still pacing. He didn’t look at her. He hadn’t since that day, refused too. His golden gaze remained fixed wholly on the floor before him, each step taking him across the room. He didn’t want to stop pacing because if he did he’d have to look at her, and he didn’t want to. He couldn’t. He’d been pacing for at least an hour. Anything Alice said he’d answered in short, angry one word sentences. He could feel her emotions and that did not help him. It made it worse, feeling his own heartbreak was more than enough but feeling hers too. Feeling the guilt mixed with his own anger. It was like he had the worst hangover on emotions. He almost was sick to his stomach because of it. Of course the minute he though that the circular path his feet were taking made him nauseous. He forced himself to stop pacing and took a deep breath, trying the quell the queasy feeling in his stomach. He stared at the wall a moment then rounded on Alice, moving right in front of her, his angry eyes, filled with heart break met hers.
“How could you?” He asked her, his voice soft and very, very upset. It was a tone he hadn’t ever spoken to her in. His eyes held the pain but it was joined by rage. “HOW COULD YOU DO THIS? To Me, to the family? To Angel and Jackson?! How will they like to know you screwed their uncle.” He snapped, raising his voice, his muscles trembling in rage and anguish. He was angry, his rage rolling off him in waves. Alice was so small, but he didn’t care…After what she’d done she deserved every bit of rage he had. Especially when he wasn’t allowed to kill Emmett.

Tell Me Why I took a chance, I took a shot And you might think I'm bulletproof, But I'm not You took a swing, I took it hard And down here from the ground I see who you areI'm sick and tired of your attitude I'm feeling like I don't know you You tell me that you love me then you cut me down And I need you like a heartbeat But you know you got a mean streak Makes me run for cover when you're around And here's to you and your temper Yes, I remember what you said last night And I know that you see what you're doing to meTell Me Why Alice looked up at Jasper, a determined look on her face. She was scare that if she touched him, he would strike out at her. It was the only way to prove her point. She took his hand gently and rested in on her stomach so he could feel the twins kicking. She smiled at him. "They're the only thing that keeps my heat beating besides you. Angel and Jackson know that we pulled the best prank ever on this family. Edward was easy to trick, but you? I wanted to tell you so bad about it," Alice told him, giggling then.
"You actually think I would screw Emmett? Yeah, right. And we sleep in coffins. I love you, Major jasper Whitlock Hale, I know I say it a ton every day. That doesn't change a thing. You have the lock and key to my heart for all eternity. I know it was mean of us to play such a horrible joke on the ones we love. Let me know what I can to to have you forgive me. I really do miss you, Jazz, every single day," Alice mused.
She stood on her tiptoes and gave him one quick, passionate kiss on the lips. She sat down on the bed. Alice knew once Jasper realized it had all been a joke, he'd soon be back to his normal self again soon. "You're not really angry, are you? I know it was a horrible joke, but Emmett wanted to cheer me up so we thought of playing a massive prank. Please don't be mad!" she whispered.

You were everything, everything that I wanted We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away
Jasper couldn’t believe her words. It was a joke? The best prank ever? He felt the twins kick but quickly removed his hand. When she kissed him, he remained stone still. He turned his back and walked across the room to lean on the wall, arms crossed over his chest as he stared at her. He couldn’t believe it… A joke? She’d giggled. He had not found this joke amusing. He took deep, shaky breaths as his hands balled up into tight fists. He couldn’t see any humor in the joke at all. How was it amusing to break the heart of the one you swore you loved? It didn’t make him laugh at all. He could have killed Emmett because of this joke… he could have killed himself! What about Rose? How was breaking their hearts a joke? Jasper was not the joke maker in the house but even he could see that this was not humorous.
“A joke?” He hissed softly. Sure he was relieved by the truth he felt in Alice. She was telling him the truth, that it was just a joke… But he was still angry and his heart still bruised. “No… Saying that a blonde with a brain is a golden retriever is a joke. Making your husband believe you’re sleeping with his brother is not a joke.” He said, his voice the stern emotionless tone of a soldier. “So if you ask me if I’m angry about your and Emmett’s sick, twisted joke I am. Very angry.”
“Do you realize what I could’ve done? I almost killed my own brother. I was more than ready to Alice,” He told her, his voice still stern and his face dark. “I almost went to visit Alec and Jane. Do you know how bad I would feel right now if I had killed Emmett over your joke?” He asked her. He would’ve been so guilty had he gone through with it. He didn’t know how Rose was taking it but he doubted she was accepting this with a smile and laugh either. “I am not a human. I do not think like a human. I am run by my instincts and I was ready to tear not only Emmett’s head off but for more than a few seconds I was ready to rip yours off too.” He told her truthfully. His heart said he could never hurt Alice, but after the way she’d hurt him… His instincts had been out for the vengeance only a broken hearted vampire could feel. He looked at the floor, averting his eyes.
“Could you even imagine how I’d feel now if I had hurt you in my rage? If Edward had told me it was a joke after I hurt you? I would have never been able to forgive myself…”

Breathe I see your face in my mind as I drive away, Cause none of us thought it was gonna end that way. People are people, And sometimes we change our minds. But it’s killing me to see you go after all this time.Music starts playin’ like the end of a sad movie, It’s the kinda ending you don’t really wanna see. Cause it’s tragedy and it’ll only bring you down, Now I don’t know what to be without you around.Breathe “Do you realize what I could’ve done? I almost killed my own brother. I was more than ready to Alice,” He told her, his voice still stern and his face dark. She listened to him. She realized what she had done was stupid. She'd do anything for him now, anything. “I almost went to visit Alec and Jane. Do you know how bad I would feel right now if I had killed Emmett over your joke?” He asked her. She couldn't help cringing at the mention of twins' names. She had heard mention of them being in the area now. “I am not a human. I do not think like a human. I am run by my instincts and I was ready to tear not only Emmett’s head off but for more than a few seconds I was ready to rip yours off too.” He told her truthfully. She knew her eyes widened with fear then. The idea of her husband ripping off her head terrified her then. “Could you even imagine how I’d feel now if I had hurt you in my rage? If Edward had told me it was a joke after I hurt you? I would have never been able to forgive myself…”
That was the final straw, and she didn't mean that in a bad way. She meant that she couldn't stand seeing this upset any longer. She got up and walked over to where he was leaning against the wall now. She wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his chest. Jasper was still like a marble statute, but she could care less. "I am honestly and truly sorry. I was so stupid. How many times will I have to say I'm sorry before...." she stopped short. She just felt like someone gave her a lethal punch in the stomach. She winced and dug her nails into the fabric of Jasper's shirt then.
Then it felt like something had rip away from the inside of her body. She did quick calculations in her head, had she really been a month off? But this was an entirely different situation. It didn't matter now. When she felt a gush of wetness between her legs, she knew there was trouble. She look down at her feet to see a steady trickle of blood dripping onto the carpet. Their placenta had partially-detached already?! No matter how mad Jasper was at her now, she knew he would do anything to save her life and the twins' but they had to hurry. This was a life-or-death emergency now, they needed to go to the hospital immediately. She didn't know if he realized what happened now. She sighed and looked up at him, tears in her eyes. "Jazz, I know we were in the middle of a fight. But the twins' placenta partially-detached, and they're not supposed to be born for almost four more months. We have to get to the hospital now! There has to be something we can do to save them. I do not want to lose my babies, Jasper Whitlock Hale!" she whimpered, trying not to collapse with all the pain she was in.

You were everything, everything that I wanted We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away
Jasper didn’t move when Alice hugged him. She was so close… The temptation to hug her and tell her it was fine was so tempting… But he couldn’t. His heart was still raw and bloody from the stupid joke. Her words truly went in one ear and out the other. The minute sorry was said he zoned out entirely. He didn’t want to hear the words ‘I’m sorry’ anymore. It was like a record put on repeat over and over and over and over and over again. He imagined pulling out a remote and putting it on mute… Or fast forward. Make all the apologies just finish sooner. Even though he could feel the meaning behind her words, words still meant nothing in his mind. However his thoughts were broken instantly as a horrible pain invaded his gift, followed almost instantly by the scent of blood. He tensed, understanding what had happened before Alice spoke. He took a deep breath as she spoke and ground his teeth in the sudden wash of fear that rocked through him. He sort of froze right there as well, he wasn’t really sure how to react to the problem.
He scooped Alice gingerly up in his arms. His anger was far from gone, simply hiding for the moment. He would return to the topic once he knew Alice, Angel and Jackson were safe. He carried her quickly down the stairs… Why did Carlisle need to work that day? Of course… It couldn’t have been a cooperative day and been sunny. Oh no… Why would life ever work out nicely for Jasper? He flew down the stairs and wasn’t going to bother with the car… But the humans would find it odd if he just walked in holding a bleeding woman… So he gently sat Alice in the car seat and jumped into the car. “Why didn’t you know?” He asked her, pulling out of the drive way, one hand on the steering wheel the other on his phone. He was sending out a mass text to the family about what was happening. Once the text had been sent he called Carlisle.
“Carlisle, it’s Jasper. Alice and I are on our way. Yes, you remember? Yes that just happened. A few minutes ago… We’re on the road. I AM HURRYING!” He snapped closing the phone quickly with a growl. He knew he was driving like a madman but he didn’t truly care.

Breathe Never wanted this, never wanna see you hurt. Every little bump in the road I tried to swerve. But people are people, And sometimes it doesn’t work out, Nothing we say is gonna save us from the fall out. It’s Two A.M. Feelin' like I just lost a friend. Hope you know it’s not easy, Easy for me. It’s Two A.M. Feelin’ like I just lost a friend. Hope you know this ain’t easy, Easy for me.Breathe Jasper tensed, understanding what had happened before Alice spoke. He took a deep breath as she spoke and ground his teeth in the sudden wash of fear that rocked through him. He scooped Alice gingerly up in his arms. He carried her quickly down the stairs. He flew down the stairs and wasn’t going to bother with the car. Jasper gently sat Alice in the car seat and jumped into the car.
“Why didn’t you know?” He asked her, pulling out of the drive way, one hand on the steering wheel the other on his phone. He was sending out a mass text to the family about what was happening. Once the text had been sent he called Carlisle using his own phone. “Carlisle, it’s Jasper. Alice and I are on our way. Yes, you remember? Yes that just happened. A few minutes ago… We’re on the road. I AM HURRYING!” he snapped, closing the phone quickly with a growl. Alice winced at the sound of him growling. She had both arms wrapped protectively around her stomach. Tears were pouring down her cheek. She doubted he noticed right now.
Jasper was driving faster than usual right now. Carlisle met them at the emergency room entrance. Soon, Alice was in a private room with only Carlisle and Jasper with her right now. "There are two options we can do Alice. We can do a non-invasive procedure that can possibly re-attach the placenta for a couple more months, but you will be on a strict bed-rest regime. The procedure does involve a needle, but you most likely won't feel it. If you want to be to be put to sleep, Alice, we can always do that. The other option is to deliver them through an emergency C-Section immediately. You will still on bed-rest if you go along with that, so you don't risk internal bleeding. I'll let you two decide," Carlisle told them now. "I hate needles, but I really don't want to have a C-Section now. Jasper, what do you think? There are a lot of pros and cons. i perfer to go with the less invasive option right now," Alice replied as another spasm of pain racked her body then. It hurt so bad right now, and she was worried about babies' safety then.

Jasper wrung his hands as he considered the options laid out before them. It was early, too early he thought for the babies. They would have a chance of survival, especially being vampires but it was still many months from when they should have been born. Then again there was a possibility of postponing the birth and re-attaching the placenta. But would it work? Even if it did could it detach again? He frowned lightly, still wringing his hands together in nervousness. He frowned a bit, and considered what he thought would be the better idea. He weighed his options and chose his words carefully.
“I think… He paused a moment “I think that you should get the C-section now Alice,” He said slowly, picking her hand up in his and holding it gently. “If they were human I would say try the less invasive option. But they’re vampires… I don’t want you to risk this again by re-attaching the placenta. I know you would try to remain in bed but… You wouldn’t. I know you too well Alice,” He told her. He knew she couldn’t stay in bed for months. He couldn’t do it and Alice was a lot more energetic than he was.
“If you don’t want to I understand,” He continued. “But that’s my thoughts on the situation,” He added. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, his golden gaze nervous and darkened in concern. He could feel her worry and concern but knew it wasn’t for herself. If he knew Alice her only concern was for Angel and Jackson. He understood but he was concerned about her safety.

The Way I Loved You He can't see the smile I'm faking And my heart's not breaking Cause I'm not feeling anything at all And you were wild and crazy Just so frustrating intoxicating complicated Got away by some mistake and nowI miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain It's 2AM and I'm cursing your name I'm so in love that I acted insane And that's the way I loved you Breaking down and coming undone It's a roller coaster kinda rush And I never knew I could feel that much And that's the way I loved you oh, ohThe Way I Loved You “I think…I think that you should get the C-section now, Alice. “If you don’t want to, I understand, but that’s my thoughts on the situation,” he continued. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, his golden gaze nervous and darkened in concern. Alice gave him a reassuring smile and squeezed his hand. He was right, she knew it. "But you are right, Jazz. They are vampires, so they are strong. You have to stay with me, though. Jasper, you need to tell Carlisle if they twins get stressed or scared. Please, I don't want them upset," she replied, trying to keep under control.
"So you guys are going with a C-Section, then?" Carlisle asked them seriously. Alice nodded before looking up at Jasper. She knew he was concerned for her. She was practically leaning against Jasper then. "I think so, it seems the better option," Alice said quietly now. Truthfully, she didn't want to make Jasper angry. She was worried. "Jazz has to keep an eye on their emotions," she explained.
"Alright, I'll see when an OR will be open. Try to relax, Alice, maybe even try to sleep. You'll be fine, I'll be back in five minutes, alright?" Carlisle left the room then. Alice cast an anxious glance at Jasper. "Jasper, will you sit with me, please?" Alice asked her quietly, patting the empty spot on the bed beside her then. She was nervous.

Jasper looked at the spot then slowly sat down, still holding Alice’s hand gently in his. He sighed softly and used his gift to calm the babies, making them stop moving. The more they moved the worse off they’d be, they needed to be calm and so did Alice. So he calmed all three, leaving himself the only one to be worried at the moment. He took a deep breath and raised his gaze to Alice’s face. “I’m sorry I was so angry at you Alice. I’m not going to say that I forgive the joke but my reaction was… A very bad influence for our family and I was way out of line.” He said, his voice calm and quiet. “But right now I want you to know that I will always love you Alice… Even when I believed that you no longer loved me I still loved you. I still do and will always.” He continued, running a hand through his wild blonde hair.
“Now…” He said with a light cough. “Are you afraid Alice? Is there anything you want me to do? Call the house? Get Brad to come? Bella? Rose? Find you a book? TV?” he asked her, concerned. “I want you to be as relaxed as possible while we wait.” he told her truthfully.

Fearless There's somethin' 'bout the way the street looks when it's just rained There's a glow off the pavement, you walk me to the car And you know I wanna ask you to dance right there In the middle of the parking lot, yeahWe're drivin' down the road, I wonder if you know I'm tryin' so hard not to get caught up now But you're just so cool, run your hands through your hair Absent-mindedly makin' me want youFearless Jasper looked at the spot then slowly sat down, still holding Alice’s hand gently in his. He sighed softly and used his gift to calm the babies, making them stop moving. They needed to be calm, so did Alice. So. He took a deep breath and raised his gaze to Alice’s face. “I’m sorry I was so angry at you Alice. But right now I want you to know that I will always love you Alice… Even when I believed that you no longer loved me I still loved you. I still do and will always,” he said, his voice calm and quiet as he ran a hand through his white blonde hair anxiously. Her stomach flipped as she heard what he said.
“Now…” he said with a light cough. “Are you afraid, Alice? Is there anything you want me to do? Call the house? Get Brad to come? Bella? Rose? Find you a book? TV? I want you to be as relaxed as possible while we wait,” he asked her, concerned. She smiled softly. "Call Brad and Brittz to tell them what is going on. Tell them not to come up, though, I don't wabt them to see me like this. I didn't have time to grab my hospital bag, so someone had to bring it up later. Probably Bella would be best. Don't bother Em and Rose, they're working out their own problems. Does your phone get a signal in here? I don't want you to leave me alone here right now," Alice replied quietly, worried. She leaned against him, needing him for support a lot at the moment.
"I'm scared a bit. The twins are going to be so tiny, though. I'm scared about holding them. Yet, I can't wait to see them! I love you, Jazz, no matter happens, I always will love you," she said as she leaned up and kissed him lightly on the lips. One of the twins moved slightly. Alice winced lightly and rubbed her belly, trying to sooth them some more. Carlisle came back in 15 minutes. "Ready to go, Alice? It's time!" Carlisle asked her seriously then.

You were everything, everything that I wanted We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away
Jasper did as he was asked, but rather than call Brad and Brittz he texted them. Sent them a message basically saying the twins were coming a little earlier than expected. They were to tell the family and stay home. Then he texted Bella, telling her that Alice wanted her to bring the bag up. He slipped his phone back into his pocket and took Alice’s hand again, sending her soothing smile after returning her light kiss. “I thought I was the paranoid parent to be Alice. You’re small, they’re small don’t worry too much,” He told her, rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb as he waited for Carlisle.
When he finally arrived Jasper nodded to him and followed as they wheeled Alice up to an operation room. Jasper once again was reminded of how much he hated hospitals. The nerves of the operating surgeons and patient’s fear boiling the atmosphere around him but he tried to ignore it. He was tense, both with his own nerves and those around him. He paused, catching Carlisle’s arm as the nurses wheeled Alice into the room. He smiled at her in a way that said he’d be there in a second.
“If… Well since this is the first time there’s ever been a vampires birth,” He whispered, far too quiet for Alice to hear. “In any case if you have to save either the babies or Alice at any point… Safe her,” He said, his eyes filled with pain. He didn’t want to even think about losing the twins but if it had to be them or Alice… He had to choose Alice. It hurt him to voice it and he knew Carlisle would understand. He coughed and went into the operation room, pulling a chair up to the bed beside Alice, taking her small hand in his.
“Are you ready to be a mother Alice?” He cooed softly, giving her a smile.

It's Beginning To Get To Me It's so thrilling but also wrong Don't have to prove that you are so strong Cos I can carry you on my back After our enemies attack I tried to tell you before I left But I was screaming under my breath You are the only thing that makes sense Just ignore all this present tense It's Beginning To Get To Me He slipped his phone back into his pocket and took Alice’s hand again, sending her soothing smile after returning her light kiss. Alice calmed down since she knew Jasper was behind her. He would be with her through this ordeal.
He paused, catching Carlisle’s arm as the nurses wheeled Alice into the room. He smiled at her in a way that said he’d be there in a second. Alice looked at him anxiously as she was wheeled away. “If…well, since this is the first time there’s ever been a vampire's birth,” he whispered, far too quiet for Alice to hear. “In any case, if you have to save either the babies or Alice at any point…save her,” he said, his eyes filled with pain. Alice was wondering what was taking them so long outside there right now.
He didn’t want to even think about losing the twins but if it had to be them or Alice…he had to choose Alice. He couldn't live without her. "Jasper, I will try the best I can within my power to save all three. I know you want me to save Alice, but I'll try to save them twins, too, for Alice's sake," Carlisle said squeezing his son's shoulder before he entered the Operating Room. It hurt him to voice it and he knew Carlisle would understand. He coughed and went into the operation room, pulling a chair up to the bed beside Alice, taking her small hand in his. She smiled up at him then.
“Are you ready to be a mother Alice?” Jasper cooed softly, giving her a smile. Alice gave him a nervous smile before she spoke. "I'm scared s**tless, but other than that, yes, " she said softly. "Okay, Alice, we're getting ready to start. I'll let you stay awake for now, but if any complications come up, you'll need to be put to sleep," Carlisle explained to both of them seriously.
"Jasper, put a hand on her forehead to keep her calm, will you? Alice, I'm going to make the incision right now, okay?" Carlisle stated. Everything went by quickly then. About five minutes later, she heard her babies crying. It was absolutely amazing to her. "They're beautiful, Alice. Jazz, look up. You can see them after you rest, okay, Alice?" Carlisle replied happily to them. Then that's when things went from perfect to completely downhill. "Dr. Cullen, she's completely hemorrhaging! " a nurse said alarmed.
It looked like a scene from a graphic horror movie at that moment. "Everyone, stay calm. Let her ride it out. Jazz, if it's too much for you, you can leave. She'll be fine," Carlisle said as he watched his son's eyes turn slowly black. Yet, Carlisle knew Jasper wouldn't leave Alice's side right now. Jasper didn't care that he was getting soaked with blood and blood was pouring out of every possible place of Alice, his eyes were only for Alice. Finally, the bleeding stopped. Alice opened her eyes, looking confused.
"Are the babies okay?" she asked, her voice quiet and raspy. "They're fine, Alice, and in the NICU," Carlisle told her, walking over to her. He put the mask on her face and turned on the anesthesia gas. She was out in a matter of seconds. After Alice was stitched up, cleaned off, and put into a fresh clean nightgown, she was wheeled back to her hospital room to recover and to wake up slowly later.
When Alice woke up, she was surprised to see she was back in her hospital room. The last thing she remembered hearing the twins crying and then absolute blackness. Her head was resting on Jasper's chest. He was sitting beside her. Jasper's eyes were a dark gold now when she distinctly remembered them being dark brown or black. She closed her eyes again. He was running his fingers through her hair. It felt good and relaxed her. She looked up at him then. "How are my babies? Are they okay?" Alice whispered to him.

You were everything, everything that I wanted We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away
Jasper smiled lightly as Alice finally came around. It had been a crazy night but he was glad it was over… It had gone so fast, like he was stuck in pause but the world was in fastforward. He did remember one thing more vividly than the others though. Holding the twins before they were put in the ICU, they’d been so tiny, he was afraid to squish them. In any case they were the most darling things he’d ever seen. He smiled down at Alice and gently continued to play with her hair, pausing a moment before he answered. “They are fine Alice… Of course the nurses are freaking out because they’re so small, they think that they are miracle children because they’re so healthy. Or course, that’s one perk to being a vampire though isn’t it?” He said softly, running his finger along her cheek bone with a grin. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been so happy…No, not happy… He was ecstatic. He was so happy he didn’t think anything could dampen his mood.
“Carlisle says when you are ready to get up and try moving we can go see them.” He told her, leaning his head against hers. “But if you want I could carry you or get a wheelchair.” He offered, turning his head to kiss her temple softly. “Because I’m certain judging by the first words you said when you woke up that you’re more than a little excited to go see them.” He added with a soft chuckle.
“It’s funny, Jackson’s the smaller one,” He whispered into her ear, taking her hand in his. “One of the nurses were joking and said he was being the big brother already, letting his sister get the best of everything… Both of them have blonde fuzz on their little heads but I only saw Jackson’s little blue eyes. I don’t know what color Angel’s are…” He purred, trying to tempt Alice to get up.

Set The Fire To The Third Bar I find the map and draw a straight line Over rivers, farms, and state lines The distance from A to where you'd B It's only finger lengths that I see I touch the place Where I'd find your face My fingers in creases Of distant dark placesSet The Fire To The Third Bar He smiled down at Alice and gently continued to play with her hair, pausing a moment before he answered. She smiled back at him. “They are fine, Alice…Of course the nurses are freaking out because they’re so small, they think that they are miracle children because they’re so healthy. She giggled. “Carlisle says when you are ready to get up and try moving, we can go see them.” He told her, leaning his head against hers, “but if you want, I could carry you or get a wheelchair,” Jasper offered, turning his head to kiss her temple softly.

Alice giggled softly. “It’s funny, Jackson’s the smaller one,” Jasper whispered into her ear, taking her hand in his. Alice squeezed his hand gently then. “One of the nurses were joking and said he was being the big brother already, letting his sister get the best of everything… Both of them have blond fuzz on their little heads but I only saw Jackson’s little blue eyes. I don’t know what color Angel’s are…” he purred, trying to tempt Alice to get up. Alice rolled her eyes exasperatedly as he tried to tempt her.
"Okay, okay, let's go see your precious twins! Geez, Jazzy, you're acting more like a mother right now than I am," Alice said teasingly, swinging her legs over the side of the bed then, "I'll walk there, I just need to lean on you for support, okay? I still feel a bit unsteady now. That's what I get at hospitals." Jasper walked over to her side of the bed so she could lean against him. The two of them slowly walked down to the NICU together then. She immediately walked over to where the twins were laying then. They were so tiny, Jasper was right. They both had blond hair. Both sets of eyes were open, looking up at her. Alice smiled softly at them. Jackson had blue eyes and Angel had hazel eyes, surprisingly.
Alice carefully scooped both of them up in her arms. Jasper came over and took Angel from her so she could hold Jackson. Angel was looking up at her father, she already had him wrapped her finger. She definitely was going to be Daddy's Little Girl, no doubt that. "They are cuties, aren't they?" Carlisle said as he walked into the NICU. Alice smiled at her father as she sat down in a chair carefully. "They are adorable, Carlisle, absolutely darling!" Alice cooed. "We were discussing the feeding motives for the twins, Jasper and I. We decided on breast-feeding along with feeding them blood a few times a day," Carlisle explained. "Okay, that's fine, I guess, but they have to drink only animals blood. Human blood is poisonous to them, remember I told you that before?" Alice replied, looking down at her son. Suddenly, she heard the sound of her cell phone ringing then. Jasper must have put her phone in his pants pocket for her earlier then. Angel started crying so Carlisle took her from Jasper so he could answer the phone. Alice knew it was either Brad or Brittany then. "Jasper, go answer the cell phone in the hall, will you?" Carlisle stated to Jasper as he put Angel back in her bassinet.
