What you need is something genuine What you want is something real What you need is something truthful I know you do Stacie Orrico ~ Genuine Mitch sighed when she bought the excuse. The disaster was averted for the moment. At least, it was a disaster in his mind. The idea of explaining his true self to Alison had an ominous feeling to it. He knew she liked him for him, but she though he was human too. Even with the fact that his family only drank animal blood, being a vampire would change who he was to her.... wouldn't it? She started giving directions and he turned where she told him, looking for Harrison as she asked her question. Keeping his eyes on the road he said, "Sure. Ask away." He didn't stop to think what the question she was asking was. There was any number of things she could ask, and the number of them that put him back at that danger zone of revealing his being a vampire were so small. It didn't seem like a threat to let her ask something. Then again, he also didn't know about the confrontation with Nessie, or what Nessie had told Alison. Nessie's comment had pushed him into the danger zone without his knowing it. He thought he was safe, and yet he wasn't. Explaining that away would be harder than explaining away other things about his family were. The dangerous question lay there in wait, ready to strike him with the decision of telling Alison or covering it up with some sort of lie he'd have to make sure the others would hold themselves to. tagged:: Alison Anderson Words:: Hmmmm..... This is the story of a girl Who cried a river and drowned the whole world While she looks so sad in photographs I absulutly love her, when she smilies.Alison's Outfit Alison took a deep breath and twirled a lock of already curly hair around her middle and index fingures. She swallowed, and pointed down a street filled with lights, and such "Just down here," she directed, "But pull over right here by the corner, please," She asked politely, than when he'd stopped she turned to face him, she didn't know why she was so nervous asking him. She'd always been this way around boys other than her brothers...but it was just the way he was, perfect. It made him so much more difficult, but in a good way.
This was just all so different in Alison's mind, she was in a boy's car, in the middle of Seattle, it was all just so unlike her. "Well, to start, I talked to Renesmee, but I...I...I..." she stumbled, failing to get her words out of her mouth. Swallowing again, she spoke "She said something, that kinda began to confuse me, and I was wondering if you'd be able to explain?" She asked that, but that wasn't the question. She didn't know how to get the words out. This was truly where her anxioity came back into the picture. She was never well at talking to boys, or anything of the male species. Anyone or thing but her family.
Quick as she was able to, she got over it. Sucking it up, and getting the words out the only way possible. To find out what she hadn't, or to just get lies. "If I recall correctly, she'd said something about her being like sixty-six and Bella being seventy-something. I don't know if you'd be able to explain, but its been bothering me slightly," She'd raised her voice a bit, and it also shook, noticeing that, her cheeks rised in heat, and the color now light pink. She tried to ignore it, by twirling her hair harder between her fingures. She stayed quiet and now looked down at the arm rest that would hold CDs and such if it was to be opened. tagged:: Mitchell Cullen Words:: one.second. somewhere between 2 and 10 Thoughts:: This is the second time i typed this up. first one got lost. What you need is something genuine What you want is something real What you need is something truthful I know you do Stacie Orrico ~ Genuine Mitch turned and pulled over where she asked him. As soon as the car stopped he turned to look at her and saw her already looking at him. She seemed nervous, and it struck him as odd and made him wonder what she was going to ask. He was so calm right now, but what if she asked something he didn't want to answer? When she said she'd talked to Renesmee he could have sworn his heart picked up in pace, and yet his heart didn't even beat anymore to his knowledge. That being the case, it was probably himself imagining the feeling. He was probably just as nervous as her about what Nessie had said that had Alison so confused now. She paused again, and time seemed to slow to a crawl. For someone where time already meant very little, seeing as he'd live for an eternity, that was pretty impressive. Alison had so much pull on his emotions, and she might not even have realized it. It wasn't as if he'd told her he loved her.... not in so many words. Not really at all. Finally the question came out, and he felt himself involuntarily draw a shaking breath his body didn't really need. d**nit Nessie! Why? Why did you have to tell her that? But cursing his cousin who wasn't here wouldn't do him any good. He had a choice that needed to be made now. He could either tell Alison the truth that he'd been dreading to tell her, but a truth that she deserved to know. He couldn't lie to himself that she would need to know what she was getting herself into hanging out with him. On the other hand he could lie, and yet his truthful nature was his strongest trait. He'd seen too much now how his being truthful was probably the trait from his human life that he had carried over. He sighed, realizing he'd been holding that breath for an inhumanly long time. "I wish she hadn't told you that," he said, his gaze starting to fall downward. No, I have to face this. I have to see her face when she knows what kind of monster I am. That way I won't delude myself with thinking that somehow I'll still have a chance with her, because I'll remember the look of utter horror and not just the way she smiles. He wasn't giving her much of a chance with those thoughts, but he was just trying to prepare for the worst. "I'm not going to lie to you, because I'd already decided you deserved to know this at some point. I'd just hoped I wouldn't have to tell you so soon." His gaze had finally risen so he could see her. His eyes were golden like honey right now, thank goodness for having fed recently. "What Nessie said was true. Ness, Bella, me.... our whole family is a lot older than we look, because we're not really human. Not completely anyways. I don't know how much we count as human, because all of us were once and we all still think and act like humans." But here he was, girl thingyfooting around the answer he didn't really want her to know. "The truth is that we're vampires. We call ourselves vegetarians because we feed on animals rather than humans, something a lot of vampires think is odd about us."There was a distinct fear of rejection in his eyes. Inside, no matter how dead he technically was, he was still very human emotionally and rejection still hurt just as much. "But that's the truth. If you wanted to get out of the car now and never see me again I wouldn't hold it against you and I wouldn't stop you."He started wondering if vampires could cry, if any of his family members had tested that idea. He realized that, if this was possibly the last time he ever saw Alison, he'd want her to know something else too. "But if you do choose to leave there's one last thing I want to tell you, probably something I'll tell you either way. It's just.... if you choose to leave I hope you'll wait long enough that I can tell you."tagged:: Alison Anderson Words:: I don't know..... I got a little carried away in this moment. >_< Thoughts:: Awww..... Poor Mitch thinks she's going to run away screaming. Listening to:: Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer

This is the story of a girl Who cried a river and drowned the whole world While she looks so sad in photographs I absulutly love her, when she smilies.Alison's Outfit Each word that Mitchell said, Alison tried to take in as much as possible. But she couldn't believe him. Vampire? Wait, they aren't real, they are...But he said... Her thoughts trailed, she couldn’t think straight. Her head spun, and she couldn’t move. It was as if she was petrified. She tried to believe him, as he’d said he wasn’t going to lie, but this sounded as much as a lie as it could go. Vampires were always mythical to Alison; she grew up reading about them, always giving them the okay, because they were always so fake to the core. But Vegetarian Vampire? And going out side in the day? She had the vampire stereotype stuck in her head, which was why this was so hard to believe for her. “Wait, what? Vampire?” She couldn’t face him, look at him, or anything at the moment. Her eyes were on the dashboard, and she couldn’t understand. She was only human, thinking he’d been lying.
He spoke again, "But that's the truth. If you wanted to get out of the car now and never see me again I wouldn't hold it against you and I wouldn't stop you." Is what she heard, her eyes watered, she wouldn’t believe him a moment, and she had to now. He was being serious no matter how much Alison wanted to deny it. She had to accept it. "But if you do choose to leave there's one last thing I want to tell you, probably something I'll tell you either way. It's just.... if you choose to leave I hope you'll wait long enough that I can tell you." She couldn’t help but allow a tear escape. She didn’t believe him, she couldn’t. But now she did. She got herself to bring her eyes to meet his, “Don’t vampires like live in coffins, and sleep during the day?” She asked, she could only think that the stereotypes of mythical creatures were just a lie if he was telling the truth, which now, she had begun to believe “ And, I’m not going anywhere. I’ve just gotten to know you,” She smiled, she knew she wasn’t going anywhere, she wanted to know more about him and his family, and he. Her hands together on her lap, she got to meet his eyes once again, they were golden, it was the first time that she’d actually looked into his eyes. She had no choice but to believe him now. By the color and emotion in his eyes really told her that he wasn’t lying.
